Meeting Place: 2024-03-24 at 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Location: Wheeler's Pancake House and Sugar Camp
How to find us: Parking lot in front of the restaurant.
RSVP will be opened three weeks prior to the event, and closed one week before. This is done so that I can account for the number of participants for reservations.
Important to know:
1. This is a 65 min drive from Ottawa on Hwy 7 and on backroads. Plan your trip ahead accordingly. It's up to individuals to find carpool arrangements.
2. RSVP at least a week prior to the event to allow me to reserve a table in advance. We will walk first before the pancake breakfast.
3. Here is the menu - wheelersmaple.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Menu-February-2024.jpg
The total distance covered is less than 6 km.
(!) New rule in effect. I will be checking registrants name and profile photo to ensure they can be traced. A proper profile includes a recognizable first name and a clearly identifiable photo (without the need of magnification).
Let's get outside to enjoy some fresh air and say hello to some trees! This place is as close to country life as most city slickers can get without knowing someone that actually lives in the country.
We will begin with an introduction and welcome exercise, and then we will relax and enjoy our time in nature.
Notes:
1. No pets for this walk.
2. Facility is available at the restaurant.
3. If photos of others are taken make sure that you acquired their permissions before posting them on this page.
4. Tour Guide - www.thecuriouscreature.com/2016/02/16/wheelers-pancake-house-and-sugar-camp/
5. Pictures/ Video Tour - wheelersmaple.com/maple-syrup-production/
6. Difficulty - This hike is at Level 1, plus weather dependent trail conditions.
