As part of the Winter Lights Across Canada program, several sites will be lit up for the holidays, including the National War Memorial, Confederation Park, Jacques-Cartier Park, Portage Park and the Supreme Court of Canada. www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/campaigns/winter-lights.htmlDistance and Terrain: ~6 km round trip on pavement (!) New rule in effect. I will be checking registrants name and profile photo to ensure they can be traced. A proper profile includes a recognizable first name and a clearly identifiable photo (without the need of magnification). We will be walking around the Alexandra bridge and Portage bridge in a loop, covering a few landmarks at the surrounding area, including the Ottawa Locks, Major Hills Park and the Museum of History.
