Meeting Place: 2023-09-23 at 12:30 pm to 02:30 pm
Location: Wheeler's Pancake House and Sugar Camp
How to find us: Parking lot in front of the restaurant.
Update 2023-09-20:
1. Trail map at Wheeler's is posted in the photo session. We will be walking on the Woksis Run (3 km).
2. An approximate walking trail (not sure if it matches with the trail map posted by Wheeler's) is here:
footpathapp.com/routes/3da56da1-9ade-435f-8ec9-d916301d0ccc
(!) New rule in effect. I will be checking registrants name and profile photo to ensure they can be traced. A proper profile includes a recognizable first name and a clearly identifiable photo (without the need of magnification).
Important to know:
1. This is a 65 min drive from Ottawa on backroads. Plan your trip ahead accordingly. This is a good trip to arrange amongst yourselves for carpools.
2. We will walk first before the pancake breakfast. I will book the restaurant and confirm the numbers prior to event.
The total distance covered is less than 6 km.
Let's get outside to enjoy some fresh air and say hello to some trees! This place is as close to country life as most city slickers can get without knowing someone that actually lives in the country.
We will begin with an introduction and welcome exercise, and then we will relax and enjoy our time in nature.
Notes:
1. No pets for this walk.
2. Facility is available at the restaurant.
3. If photos of others are taken make sure that you acquired their permissions before posting them on this page.
