Meeting Place: 2023-09-04 at 09:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: 315 Rue de la Galène · Gatineau, QC
How to find us: Meet at the roundabout before the houses.
This trail does involve climbing a few sets of stairs that are quite steep. If you have trouble with stairs then you may find it to be difficult.
Bring water and dress appropriately according to weather, and anything that may be able to help you feel comfortable. The total distance for this walk is 6-7 km (with elevation at the Pink Lake loop trail -> approx 2 km)

As mask wearing has become optional even at indoors, I will not enforce the policy of having to bring a mask and social distancing. I will also not require vaccination to be a pre-requisite. Having said that, I will ask the group to honor each individual's choice to wear a mask and/or maintain social distancing during this walk.
Notes:
1. Street parking - Meeting place is 2 km away from Pink Lake trail.
2. No pets for this walk.
3. Facility is available at the trail head.
4. If photos of others are taken make sure that you acquired their permissions before posting them on this page.
5. Trip Reports - www.adventurereport.ca/pink-lake-a-2-4k-hike-in-gatineau-park/
6. Difficulty - This hike is at Level 3 - see description at group info.

8. Description
The Pink Lake trail is a 2.1 km loop trail located in the Gatineau Park that most people can complete in about an hour. It's a wonderful hike with beautiful views of blue green lake in the summer and yellow and red leaves in the fall. The trails are well maintained with observatories at various spots.
