Note that this is 1.5 - 2 hr drive from Ottawa. October and November are hunting season in Quebec. The trail we go on to are open to the public, but please wear bright colours (but no antler headbands and red noses!)
We will be hiking on Trails 1 and 2. The elevation spans from 270 m to 400 m. Although an intermediate hike, It's recommended to bring hiking poles. You can leave the hiking poles in the car if you found out you don't need them. Bring water and dress appropriately according to weather, and anything that may be able to help you feel comfortable and energized. The total distance for this walk is 7.6 km.

Located 115 km north of Gatineau–Ottawa, in the municipality of Blue Sea, Mont Morissette occupies an area of 589 hectares and has a vertical elevation of 400 metres. An 18-metre observation tower offers breathtaking views of a dozen lakes.
