Important to know: 1. This is a 65 min drive from Ottawa on Hwy 7 and on backroads. Plan your trip ahead accordingly. It's up to individuals to find carpool arrangements. 2. RSVP at least a week prior to the event to allow me to reserve a table in advance. We will walk first before the pancake breakfast. The total distance covered is less than 6 km. We will begin with an introduction and welcome exercise, and then we will relax and enjoy our time in nature. Notes: 1. No pets for this walk. 2. Facility is available at the restaurant. 3. Description Started in 1978, Wheelers Pancake House and Sugar Camp is one of the largest producers of maple syrup in Ontario. It’s a family run business with Vernon and Judy Wheeler at the helm, supported by their 4 children and their spouses. The property boasts 20,000 tapped maple trees spread over an area of 730 acres.
